Abstract

En este artículo se formula un modelo conceptual para el desarrollo de una IDE orientada a la gestión de las Estaciones Experimentales (EE) pertenecientes a las instituciones de investigación agrícola de Venezuela, basándose en los Puntos de vista Empresa e Información del Modelo de Referencia de Procesamiento Distribuido de Arquitectura Abierta de ISO (RM-ODP). El modelo se desarrolla, para los puntos de vista indicados, usando la notación del Lenguaje Unificado de Modelado (UML), como una aplicación específica del modelo general de IDE propuesto por Hjelmager et al. (2005). El modelo propuesto aporta conocimientos acerca del propósito, alcance, políticas y entorno de la IDE, en el ambiente institucional de las EE. También contribuye con el conocimiento de la semántica, tipo y estructura de los datos requeridos en la IDE, así como su flujo dentro de la estructura organizativa de la IDE. Igualmente, se identifican, en un primer nivel de abstracción, los actores que participan en la IDE y el rol que en ella desempeñan.
