After a research campaign in 2019 on cromlech in the Chistau valley (Huesca), the possibility of finding more megalithic structures in the same region arose. This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as support in the archaeological prospecting phase in the high mountains. The main objective is to identify areas with a high probability of hosting megalithic structures in the valley through Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA), based on the location of the cromlech using a sample of 30 stone circles. The criteria were weighted using the which 5 cromlechs were recorded, 29 structures with a high probability of being cromlech, and the existence of 6 structures with the potential of hosting megalithic remains.
