Metodología SIG para el análisis de la dinámica, monitoreo y remediación de un sistema playa- duna del sudeste bonaerense, Argentina

El objetivo del trabajo es identificar las zonas de erosión y sedimentación costera y, cuantificar las tasas de pérdida y aporte de sedimentos en un sistema playa-duna del litoral atlántico bonaerense (Argentina) a partir de un marco metodológico basado en SIG. Se realizaron 7 campañas de relevamiento topográfico de marzo del 2016 a marzo del 2017.El volumen total de arena movilizada fluctuó entre 31079 y 77680 m3. Se cuantificó un área de permanente erosión de 488 m2, próxima a la línea de costa, y, un área total de 2468 m2 de permanente acumulación coincidente en general con las crestas de los médanos. Los resultados identificaron zonas prioritarias (3,7 %) para instalar dispositivos de acumulación de arena como posibles alternativas de remediación de la cadena medanosa frontal, recomendándose principalmente entre marzo y junio ya que en estos meses se presentan los mayores volúmenes de sedimentos en el sistema.References
